Resolve to Save Lives: Voices of Long COVID

Long COVID is a range of new, returning and ongoing health problems people can experience after they have contracted the virus—and young people suffering from Long COVID symptoms are speaking out. Voices of Long COVID, a newly launched campaign by Resolve to Save Lives, features testimonials from people ages 18-29 who are struggling with persistent health problems from COVID-19. Long COVID symptoms can include fatigue, shortness of breath, “brain fog,” gastrointestinal problems, and loss of taste and smell, among many others.

The campaign follows Resolve to Save Lives’ recent national survey, which found that nearly a third of American adults are unaware of Long COVID, and that “long-hauler” stories can motivate 40% of unvaccinated people to consider getting a COVID-19 vaccine.

Resolve to Save Lives has created a Voices of Long COVID campaign toolkit to share with your community, including ad placements for TV and radio, social media copy and graphics, and static digital banners. As we encourage increased vaccination rates across the country, these powerful stories serve as a reminder that getting vaccinated is our best tool to stop the spread of COVID-19 and help prevent symptoms of Long COVID.
