Welcome to PHCC’s Ambassador Program
At the heart of PHCC’s work lies a profound belief: sharing knowledge about public health can save lives and build healthier communities.
We are excited to introduce our PHCC ambassador program for public health communicators, which aims to amplify PHCC’s reach, deepen community engagement, and enhance the effectiveness of public health communication.
Applications for the 2025 PHCC PHCC Ambassador Program will open this spring.
What is the PHCC Ambassador Program?
This PHCC ambassador program is a partnership between PHCC and individuals who share a mutual passion and commitment to its mission. These individuals, known as PHCC ambassadors, use their expertise and networks to share PHCC messaging resources and pre-approved digital content.
PHCC Ambassadors take an active role in sharing vital health information and building public confidence in public health in community with other public health communicators.
Who We Are Looking For
We seek United States-based public health communicators with strong networks and a passion for sharing resources that support health equity. Our Ambassadors will reflect different backgrounds, experiences, and geographies, united by their commitment to public health.
Whether you’re just starting or have years of experience, if you’re motivated by the prospect of making a difference in public health communications and are interested in being part of a network of similarly passionate health communicators, we’d love your support.

As a PHCC Ambassador, you’re advancing a vision of an effective, equitable, and trusted public health system where everyone has the information they need to make decisions about their health.
PHCC Ambassador Perks
Becoming a PHCC Ambassador is an experience designed to support you in your work and recognize your contributions. You will:
- Engage with a vibrant community of public health communicators in shared spaces for networking, collaboration, and support.
- Access individual coaching from the PHCC team on communications topics like plain language, creating accessible digital communications, and social media best practices.
- Have the opportunity for your organization’s work to be featured as a spotlight on the PHCC website and social media channels.
PHCC Ambassador Requirements
We seek public health communicators ready to engage with, share, and amplify PHCC resources. We expect each PHCC Ambassador to:
- Share PHCC messaging resources and pre-approved digital content provided by PHCC on LinkedIn and Instagram, websites, or other appropriate channels where you engage your peers and community in public health.
- Commit to being an Ambassador for 90 days. The expected monthly commitment is three hours.
- Participate in short surveys on your communication needs and topics impacting your work.
- Engage and chat in a moderated virtual space with the PHCC team and your fellow Ambassadors.
- Join and participate in monthly 30-minute virtual PHCC Ambassador meetings.
- Abide by and follow our PHCC Ambassador Program Rules.
